And it was told king David, saying, The LORD hath blessed the house of Obededom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obededom into the city of David with gladness.
Someone told King David, 'The LORD has blessed Obed-Edom's household and everything that belongs to him because of God's ark.' So David went and joyfully brought the ark of God from Obed-Edom's house to the City of David.

This follows David's first failed attempt to move the ark to Jerusalem, when Uzzah died for touching it improperly.
